Apex Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, PLLC is not only a clinic specializing in sleep disorders and pulmonary diseases, we also have a fully accredited sleep center. Our accreditation is through the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. We perform diagnostic and therapeutic polysomnograms as well as multi sleep latency and maintenance of wakefulness tests. Along with in-lab, overnight testing, we offer home sleep testing when medically appropriate. Our sleep center staff is proficient in advanced titrations to treat more progressive sleep disorders including central apnea and sleep and obesity related hypoventilation.

Office Closure & Next Steps

Apex Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine will be permanently closing on March 27, 2025. After nearly 25 years of serving patients in the Memphis/Mid-South area, Dr. Marc Hofmann will be moving out of the area to continue practicing. We will continue to serve established patients through the above date. We will not be scheduling any further new patients. Please Note

During office closures, please contact your primary care physician for ALL medical needs, including prescription refills. For PAP assistance, contact your medical equipment company.

No refills, appointment, orders, or any other clinic business will be conducted during closures.

Supply Orders

Please check with your DME (durable medical equipment) company and your insurance to see if you will need supplies/orders/changes made to your PAP equipment BEFORE DECEMBER 16th. We must be notified by 4pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024, if any update regarding DME is needed from our office. This will give us time to assist with your PAP needs by the end of the year.

Medication Refills

Please check your medication refill dates. If the refill date falls during a closure, please call our office during office hours and speak/leave a message on the ‘clinical assistant’ line. The message needs to include the patient’s name and birth date, medication name and strength, pharmacy name and phone number where you would like refill to go, and a call back number. The last day we will be able to send any medication refills ahead of the New Year’s week closure will be Thursday December 26th at 4pm.
